Frequently Asked Questions

What is required to secure my date, and what are the payment terms?

To fully secure your date on my calendar, a signed booking agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer are required. The remaining 50% balance is due before the session. For your convenience, payments can be securely processed via PayPal, Wise, or major credit cards. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is received, your date is locked in.

What is your cancellation or postponement policy if our travel plans change?

Since I reserve dates exclusively and turn down other clients, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. Both cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made at least two weeks (14 days) prior to your scheduled date. For cancellations made at least 14 days in advance, any balance paid beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded. If you need to change your date, we can pivot to a new one free of charge up to 14 days in advance, subject to my current calendar availability.

What happens if we are running late on the day of the shoot?

I completely understand that delays happen, especially when navigating a new country or managing the unpredictable logistics of a surprise proposal. If you realize you are running late and inform me at least 1 hour prior to our scheduled start time, I will do my absolute best to adjust our timing and accommodate a delay of up to one hour (subject to current calendar availability). Please note that any delayed time will be deducted from your original shoot window to ensure subsequent bookings stay on track. However, communication is key. If you are running late and do not contact me before our session is set to begin. If I do not hear from you within this window, the shoot will be considered a no-show, and the session will be canceled with no refund possible.

What happens if it rains on our scheduled shoot day?

I closely monitor local weather forecasts leading up to your session. In the case of light rain, we can utilize clear, minimalist umbrellas to create a cinematic rainy aesthetic that is romantic for couples and fun for kids and families. If heavy or disruptive rain is predicted, we will look to reschedule the session to a backup date or an alternate time window based on our mutual availability.

Do you deliver RAW or unedited files from the session?

I do not release RAW or unedited files. I take deep pride in a meticulous, high-end editing and color-grading process. Unedited files are merely the rough canvas; the final, polished photograph is the true representation of my artistic standard and the cinematic artwork you are investing in.

How long does it take to get our photos back?

I know how exciting it is to share your memories while you are still traveling. You will receive a private online proof gallery to choose your favorite frames within 3 days of our session. Once you submit your final selections, your color-graded, high-quality images in my signature editing style will be delivered within 1 week (2 weeks for video projects). If you need them even faster, an express delivery add-on is available.
